The event is an official World Circular Economy Forum side event.
– “Writing a book has been a dream of mine for such a long time that now it felt like the right time to write it. I have been working as a circular economy expert and consultant in Finland and internationally for the past 11 years – basically the whole time circular economy as a business development concept has been emerging and developing.
Using the Circular Design Framework as a structure for the book felt like an obvious choice. We’ve been developing it with our clients since the first Circular Design Sprints in 2016. The Circular Design Framework provides a systematic and proven methodology for companies that want to go circular and reap the benefits of doing so proactively, before EU legislation, such as the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation comes into force”, Anne says.
She continues: “I have interviewed 20 global experts from a range of leading companies and organisations, and their stories form the backbone of the book. I wanted to write in a storytelling style that would spark the interest of business people who are interested in the topic but are not sure how to proceed. However, there are also a number of compelling stories for those who are further along the journey.”
“A must-read for R&D leaders, this book provides the essential insights needed to secure a winning edge in an evolving marketplace. I found its approach both practical and inspiring, and I highly recommend it.” – Jean-Christophe Almira, Global Product & Technology Executive
