Ylva is a 150-year old Finnish company focusing on real estate and restaurant sector. Sustainability is at the core of its business activities.
In Circular Design Sprint with Ethica, Ylva wanted to explore how to create value for customers through circular services. Through using the Circular lifecycle Model approach and service design tools, identified opportunities were e.g.:
- Sharing platforms for effective use of resources
- Maintenance services, e.g. extending furniture life-span and circulation
- Material bank maintenance and coordination
- Development of digital tools to support customers own circularity goals
